Master Shaheed was introduced to Martial Arts at the age of seven by his father who holds a black belt. He has continued the practice ever since.
At the age of 10, Master Shaheed began instruction under the Plainfield Pal Program and MMAJI at the BUF (Black United Foundation) in Plainfield, New Jersey. With them, he won countless metals and competed in many tournaments. He took home metals in the 1993 Jr. Olympic in Ohio, just to name one.
As an adult, he continued to teach and coach under belts in competitions around the state. He teaches classes to schools and non-profit Programs in the Plainfield and Scotch Plains areas. Today he is a regular part of some of those schools and program curriculums.
Master Shaheed was inducted into the US Martial Arts Alliance Hall of Fame in 2007 for Olympic Tae Kwon Do and Mixed Martial Arts. In 2008 he was officially declared an Alumni in that Hall of Fame.
Master Shaheed trains regularly to maintain his Martial Arts skills in Traditional and Olympic Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu, and Karate (Wazito Ryu). He is always looking for a new challenge to put under his belt. He has devoted his time into becoming a Martial Artist of today's time.

Mrs.. Jessica is the very important support staff behind Master Shaheed and our senseis. She manages our Pro Shop in our Academy. With the leadership of Master Shaheed, she has comprised our curriculum.
Mrs.. Jessica has a business background in Management, Customer Service, Finance, and Marketing. She is responsible for ensuing all paperwork in in order for new students as they come in for their intro class and first classes, promotions are on track, and Parents and students are fully informed of all our events, tournaments, and schedule.
Mrs. Jessica holds a 1st degree black belt in Taefuryu and a 1st Degree in Olympic TKD. She is there to instruct classes when a Sensei is unavailable or just needs an extra hand.
Mrs. Jessica is a proud Mother of 4.
Grand Master Wayne Ford "Papasan" The original founder of the Nagasu Ryu System. Papasan comes to us with more than 50 years experience in various styles. He will be with RMAA in January 2010 to teach the Adult Self defense classes every Thursday evening 7:30pm - 8:30pm. Learn body anatamy, martial arts philosophy and street self defense from the best in NJ.
Sensei Sameerah Jones
Sensei Sameerah is the newest member to our academy. She received her Taekwondo black belt in 2006. She is a 2003 Jr. Olympian and has competed in Olympic TKD tournaments all over the states. She loves music and hanging out with her friends.
Coach Reggie Brown & Coach Valarie Brown
This one unit team is the back bone of the National Team and tournament participants! Coach Reggie Brown has trained with our National Travel Team since 2009 and coached, referreed, and judged numerous local tournaments. He is a Certified Coach under USA Taekwondo Federation. He is an International medalist in 2008 at the Disney Martial Arts Festival. Coach Valarie Brown has become our teams #1 Fan. When she is not coaching at local toarnaments, she is in the stands cheering! She will be a certified Coach under USA Taekwondo in 2010. She hold a gold medal from the International Disney Martial Arts Festival and various local tournaments. She also holds the Treasury position for PAC. Both Browns will be going for their black belts in 2010.
Asst. Instructor Charlene Fletcher Mrs. Charlene has been training with RMAA since 2007. She is working on achieving Black Belt in Tae Fu Ryu and Olympic Taekwondo. She exemplifies in leadership as she has be instructing for the past year. She coaches and competes locally and will, too, be a Certified Coach under USA Taekwondo federation. She is the proud parent of our Demo Team member, Justin.
